UNM graduate Marissa Livingston earned the opportunity to represent the Land Of Enchantment on a national level by competing in the 2016 Miss America Pageant as Miss New Mexico.

“I would have never imagined, walking into my first day at UNM, that eventually I would have gone on to be a White House intern and to be Miss New Mexico and compete on the stage at Miss America. My time at UNM really gave me the opportunity to find out who I truly am, and what I want out of life and how I can make my difference in this world.”
